In the ‘Perche Sarthois’, bordering the south of Normandy, ideally situated between the gentle Normandy hills and the ‘Châteaux’ of the Loire river, you will find our charming ‘fermette’.
Reachable via a small country road which leads to the house and continues afterwards as a pedestrian lane, on top of a hill with great rural views. The moment you arrive, you will lose the sense of time and enjoy a lovely vacation.
Built in the 18th century, a very cozy 150 m2 house, facing South, fully renovated in the traditional building style (wooden beams, old floor tiles), furnished with beautiful old items found in local ‘brocantes’ and restored by the owners themselves. A lovely mix between modern comfort and old stones in a timeless atmosphere. A great place for artists : musicians, writers, painters appreciate the peacefulness and beautiful light.
Situated an hour and a half from Paris, 1 hour from Chartres and 40 minutes from Le Mans.

Ground Floor

- Entrance hall, big dining-room with long table (sitting six), sitting area by the fireplace and an upright piano our musician guests may use.

Semi-covered terrace and playroom
New for the season 2015
In 2014 and 2015 we renovated the barn, see also our blog post here. We are now happy to provide our guest this season with a completely new terrace with free views on the surrounding pastures. The terrace is facing South-East and is semi-covered. Comfortable deck chairs are available as well as small table, chairs and bench. Adjacent to the terrace you’ll find a 2nd sports & play room with table tennis and football games available.

The garden is not closed by a fence. However there is little or no risk for young children since the road leading to the village is at a fair distance from the house.

- For everybody’s comfort, La Camillette is a non-smoking house.
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept pets.
- We do not use bleach for the house cleaning and no chemical substances in the garden.
- An ecological washing ball to be used in the washing machine is at your disposal for your laundry.
- Delicious water is coming out of the tap, straight from a nearby source. Therefore you don’t have to buy plastic bottles and that’s good for the planet!
